Richard T. Chapman, Jr., Partner

Mr. Chapman was born in Beaumont, Texas, in 1954, was graduated from the University of Texas in 1975, and the University of Texas Law School in 1978, and was admitted to the bar in Texas in 1979. He is currently a member of the Victoria County Bar Association, and the State Bar of Texas. Mr. Chapman is Board Certified in Consumer Bankruptcy Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. He has served on the Boards of Hospice of Victoria, the South Texas Zoological Society, Trinity Episcopal School and First Christian Church. He is the past District Chairman of Ducks Unlimited and past chair of the State Bar of Texas Grievance Committee, District 11C. His principal areas of practice are commercial law, secured transactions, bankruptcy and creditor rights.


James N. Stofer, of Counsel

Mr. Stofer was born in Victoria, Texas, in 1937, attended Washington and Lee University and graduated from the University of Texas in 1959, and the University of Texas School of Law in 1962. Mr. Stofer was admitted to the bar in Texas in 1962. He served as Assistant Attorney General of Texas from 1963 to 1964 when he joined the firm. He is a member of the Victoria County Bar Association, State Bar of Texas, Texas Association of Defense Counsel, Texas Association of Railroad Trial Counsel and Association of Defense Trial Attorneys. He is primarily a personal injury and civil trial attorney, including condemnation.



N. Scott Kimball, III, of Counsel

Mr. Kimball was born in Lubbock, Texas in 1956. He graduated from Southern Methodist University in 1978 and from South Texas College of Law in 1981. He was admitted to the State Bar of Texas in 1982. In addition, he is admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas. He is a member of the Northside Rotary Club of Victoria, Ducks Unlimited, the Coastal Conservation Association, and the State Bar of Texas. Mr. Kimball  practices primarily in the areas of civil litigation.
